Get £2,000 off a new Isuzu with the Government Scrappage Scheme
In April's Budget, the Government launched the new Scrappage Scheme - a £2,000 allowance on vehicles aged 10 years or over.
The Scheme
Commencing May 18th 2009, in exchange for scrapping your old vehicle and buying a new Isuzu, the Government and Isuzu will contribute a total of £2,000 towards the purchase price.
Participating Isuzu Dealers will handle the whole process on your behalf, including claiming the government incentive and arranging the scrapping of your old vehicle.
To qualify, the vehicle you are trading-in must:
- Be a car or small van weighing no more than 3,500 kg
- Have been first registered in the UK on or before 31st August 1999
- Either be registered or have a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in your name
- Have been registered to you continuously for 12 calendar months before the order date of your replacement Isuzu
- Have a current, valid MOT certificate up to the date of order of your new Isuzu
- Show a UK address on the registration certificate (V5C) in the same name as the new Isuzu
Your new Isuzu must be:
- First registered in the UK on or after 18th May 2009
- Declared new at first registration in the UK with no former keepers
